Computers vs humans: Six times AI has beaten humans in competinformatique techniqueions | Service Online

An AI system called Lengpudashi has beaten a team of six poker players after a series of matches in China, the BBC reports. The five-day competinformatique techniqueion, which saw the winner take home £230,000, is the second time in 2017 an AI has beaten top poker pros. An earlier version of the system prevailed over four of the world’s top players in January. 

The winnings will go to the system’s creators, Tuomas Sandholm, a computer science professor at Carnegie Mellon Universinformatique techniquey in the US, and PhD student Noam Brown, to fund their company ‘Strategic Machine’.
