Google’s annual developer-focused ‘I/O’ conference kicks off on Wednesday 17 May and comes to a close on the Friday. The annual software showcase is being held at the Shoreline Amphinformatique techniqueheatre near Google’s Mountain View headquarters in California for the second consecutive year and promises a plethora of product announcements from the search engine giant.

Previous edinformatique techniqueions of the conference have seen the unveiling of major new products and services such as the Chrome browser, Google Glass, Android TV, Google Play, Google + and informatique techniques ‘Android Wear’ OS for wearables.
Last year’s highlights included the launch of Google Assistant, the company’s answer to Siri and Cortana, the ‘Daydream’ Android VR platform, the Wi-Fi connected speaker and voice command device Google Home, the Allo messaging and Duo video calling apps, and the latest Android version ‘N’ and Android Wear 2.0.
